Evonne Hyla Wetzner, Owner
Evonne opened The Video Underground in 2002. She has been involved in the Boston film scene for many years--both as a documentary video-maker, founder of the Underground Film Revolution (UFR) film series (1997-2004), and as program coordinator for the Boston Underground Film Festival. UFR spent it's last four years in a monthly residency at The Milky Way Lounge & Lanes before going on hiatus in September 2004. Prior to opening The Video Underground, Evonne managed the Production Department at 360merch, a Boston-area start-up company that made promotional merchandise for the entertainment industry. She has also taught kindergarten and worked as a family case manager (thus her patience level).

>>Evonne's Picks: Badlands; Mean Streets; Paris, Texas; Amores Perros; Angela; Hate (La Haine); Repo Man; Manny & Lo; Reservoir Dogs; Dog Day Afternoon; Bottle Rocket; Spinal Tap; Man Bites Dog; Fletch; Seems Like Old Times (really any early Chevy Chase/Goldie Hawn combo); The Apartment; David Holzman's Diary; Splendor in the Grass; Horns & Halos; Freaks & Geeks; TV Nation; Lovers of the Arctic Circle; City of God; Drugstore Cowboy; Running Scared ('86); Donnie Darko; The Godfather 1 & 2; The Passenger.

Alex, Assistant Manager
Alex is the Assistant Manager of the Video Underground, but more importantly, she is also the executive manager of Team Awesome.

>>Alex's Picks: All ANDREW MCCARTHY movies from 1983-1989 and Weekend at Bernies 2; Tapeheads; Firefly; Very Bad Things; Heaven; The Man Who Fell to Earth; Crybaby; Bonnie and Clyde; Velvet Goldmine; Veronica Mars; Shag; Badlands; The Apple; Ziggy Stardust; Kicking and Screaming.

Andy B.
Andy B. has worked at The Brattle Theatre for years and started at the VU in September '07. He apparently slacks at providing official bios and film picks. BUT, he has unwillingly become the recent poster child/VU super-model (see our myspace page).

>>Andy B.'s Picks:

Josiah
A legend in some dance battle circuits, Josiah enjoys brisk walks and soft tacos, sleeping in late and eating breakfast. Then maybe eating breakfast again. He hopes to one day become a true cybernetic
organism and retire to a private island in the South Pacific. Until then you might find him alone in his room dancing to some MJ or groovin' out to some Sade.

>>Josiah's Picks: Twin Peaks; Terminator 2; Robocop; Flight of the Navigator; Heat; King of New York; Wild at Heart; True Romance; Things to do in Denver When You're Dead; Rear Window; Say Anything; Groundhog Day; Event Horizon; Triplets of Bellville.

Noah
Noah used to be the most recent addition to the staff (but now he's old news). He worked for Captain Video in Amherst, MA prior to moving to Boston and joining up with the VU. We are awaiting his official bio, but can tell you he is very sweet and helpful; in addition to his film knowledge, he is also a musician and plays in local bands.

>>Noah's Picks:
