The Video Underground proudly offers local artists the unique opportunity to put their work up on our shelves for rental. We also have a small screening room in which film/video artists can exhibit their work. This "microcinema" seats about 20-25 people. As part of our newly expanded store, Video Underground is proud to be exhibiting the on-going interactive video art exhibit, POCKET VIDEO POSTCARDS, created and sponsored by The Berwick Research Institute. These short videos on display via a mini LCD screen are shot on either cell phones or digital hand cameras, allowing the creators to send small "postcards" from their lives to share with the public. Instructions are available at the store or email pocketvideopostcards@gmail.com for submissions or more detailed info. Video submissions can be sent anytime and the installation will be updated every few months in the store.
